Hong Ma is a professor in the Biology Department at Penn State. He graduated from Temple University and received a Ph.D. degree in Biology from MIT. Hong and his family came to State College in 1998, and his son and daughter both graduated from State High. Hong likes to garden, hike and photograph plants.
